The intro, the ambiance, the dialogue, the rising of the melody through the song to then fade back to an ending similar to the beginning.

Well...

The performance, I'm sure, isn't half bad. However, the recording... sorta is. I'm trying to give you constructive criticism here when I tell you, you should really get better recording equipment.

Just turning the volume up unfortunately didn't work, since the original recording was at a very low level of decibels. I'd say you re-record with a better mic. Ask someone in your area to help you. Once you get a neat recording, you don't have to do much to make it sound great. Like i said, the performance isn't bad, it's just the technical quality of the audio

Turn the volume up!!

I'm sorry, I'm not flaming you or anything, but I think the volume is waaaay too low. I turned up my speakers all the way and could barely hear it. I suggest you take down this version, fix it to be at an easily audible level, and re-submit.

doubt if I'm able to do that using a cheap headset mic to record it. The original also has alot of white noise in it.

Sounds like one of those indie songs you just fall in love with. I'd give it a 10, but I guess it's still missing lyrics and actual record quality, 'cause this sounds sampled. But this is definitely going in the right direction! And if you're not planning on recording it, then great job with everything else nevertheless.
